![]() ![]() I love the ample space in the trunk area. The look of the vehicle is nice, from a beautiful paint job, to the overall look with the headlights and taillights. There is a key pad on the side of the driver side door that allows you to enter a code to get into the vehicle in the case that you lock your keys in the vehicle or want to go to the park for a run and don't want to carry your car keys with you. I also love the navigation system it is always accurate and extremely easy to use! The heated leather seats are my favorite part of the car, and when the defrost is on, the side view mirrors also heat up. It drives like a smaller car, being able to take turns more easily than larger SUVs. I love the size of the vehicle and the how the vehicle drives. the vehicle is very sassy, meaning that it drives like a sports car, but sits higher up like a regular SUV, making it easier to see the road and manage the vehicle, even in the snow! The seats fold down to give ample storage space in the back area, and there are also air vents to produce heat and air conditioning in the back area. The vehicle rides smoothly and since my vehicle is an AWD model, it does EXCELLENT in the ice and snow. Connecting my Bluetooth device is simple and the quality of the sound is excellent as well. The touch screen controls are great and they can also be used via voice activation (i.e., for phone calls). I have heated leather seats and electric/power windows/seats and mirrors. There are no rattles or random sounds as I drive and the features available are very nice. Being able to get the car seat in and out of the car is essential to my daily life and the Ford Escape makes it so simple! The operation of the vehicle has good quality. And when washed, our Edge still looks brand new.I love my 2016 Ford Escape! The size of it is perfect for me since I am a new mother and also short in stature. Other than scheduled service and a recent new set of tires. We have had no issues with any of the operating systems (just updated the Navagation - easy) or the mechanicals. Whether going to the market, visiting family 40 miles away or 400 miles away, the Edge runs smooth as silk. It is especially nice on trips to Las Vegas and Arizona. My favorite option? The Adaptive Cruise Control. The interior shows almost no wear and the vehicle runs as smooth as the day we bought it. Update: 10/3/18 - We are still very pleased with our Edge. Been over a year and 10,000 miles and it is still fun to drive. dealer or Ford initially couldn't figure it out. Update: We had a "common" problem with the new "Adaptive Steering". ![]() We special ordered the Edge and it was well worth the wait. ![]() We got a Pearl White Titanium AWD with all the options with the Ceramic interior. The Edge is an extremely quiet ride and the interior is nicely appointed with soft surfaces everywhere. I must admit it was a bit unnerving the first time I started to change lanes on the freeway … WITHOUT turning on my turn signal and then have the steering nudge me back into my own lane. My son has a 2015 Explorer Sport with the Ford Touch and it's not near as user friendly. We waited for the Ford Edge 2016 to gain the Sync 3 and Drivers Assist package. downsizing from an 11 year old Tahoe Z71. ![]()
